About

I am a self taught crafter working with both wood and leather and have always loved working with my hands. Growing up I would “help” my father with various projects which usually consisted of holding a flashlight or the end of a board while he sawed.  Although he didn’t teach me the craft, he was instrumental in teaching me not to be afraid to attempt and do things myself.  As a result of that, over the years I’ve tiled floors, installed hardwood flooring, run new electric circuits and completely renovated and remodeled a laundry room.  I don’t remember exactly when I began, but woodworking and leather crafting are skills I’ve been perfecting over the years.  My early projects were mainly focused on making items for family members. I thought to myself I can do this and have worked at it slowly but steadily which brings me to today.  When it came time to decide what to do in retirement I felt that I might be able to turn this hobby into a new career.  I love transforming a piece of rough lumber or leather into something beautiful, practical and useful.  It’s very satisfying when I can take someone’s idea and make it a reality. The hard work is rewarded by the fact that my finished product will be used and appreciated and possibly even passed onto a new generation.  All of our products are made using traditional methods and tools by a single craftsman.  All leather goods are hand stitched.

Our process

1

Request a custom order

Do you have an idea for a custom table or a distinctive cutting board? Let us know what you have in mind so we can begin the process of making the leap from your imagination to a one of a kind finished product.

2

Review and confirm the details of the custom order

We work directly with you along every step in the custom build process. Whether it's a tweak to one of our standard creations or something of your own design. We can turn your vision into reality.

3

Receive updates for the duration of our work together

Throughout the design and construction process we are in constant communication to ensure the finished product meets your specifications. Based on your idea we sketch a design, review each detail and submit an estimate. No work begins without your approval.

4

Final steps

As construction continues, routine updates are provided via email and photographs to record progress as completion nears. Once completed arrangements are made for pickup or delivery of your item(s).
